Initial Rental Disclosure

What does "Initial Rental" mean?

The initial rental or month upfront amount is the first payment that you will pay towards your newly leased car or van. Most commonly, the initial rental will be a multiple of your monthly rental amount. These multiples will be 1, 3, 6, 9 or 12 but if you would like a particular amount as your initial rental, ask your consultant to see if this is possible for you. The higher your initial rental amount, the lower your monthly payment will be.

The initial rental is not a deposit. The flexibility of the initial rental allows you to choose the payment profile that suits you and your circumstances. While the initial rental may be referred to as a deposit in some instances, it will not be refunded to you at the end of your contract.

Who Does The Initial Rental Payment Go To?

The initial payment amount will be paid to the finance company who your contract is with. As a broker, Willow Leasing does not handle your payment.
